Qatar     Obtain medical and travel insurance for the duration of the proposed trip.       Check the latest Foreign and Commonwealth Office Travel Advice.       Carry enough money and make sure you have a fallback for emergencies.       Respect custom regulations. Don’t bring alcohol, pornographic material, pork products into Qatar.       Leave a copy of your passport and itinerary with a contact in the UK.       Respect local laws and customs and don’t dress or behave in a manner, which may offend (particularly during the Holy Month of Ramadan).       Obtain a valid visitor’s visa from the Embassy in London prior to your visit.       Qatar is a dry state. Liquor is available but discretion is advised. Do not drink and drive or be drunk in public.       Don’t bring drugs. The penalties for doing so are severe.       Don’t overstay your visa.
